Air diaphragm pumps are widely used in a variety of applications due to their versatility. Air Operated Double Diaphragm Nomad Pumps feature few moving parts. There is no motor or base plate, nor any other peripherals required. The design style, coupled with its positive displacement functionality, allows for the transfer of shear sensitive products with self-priming up to 25 feet. These Nomad™ AODD Pumps require a low initial investment. Replacement costs are low as well when compared to other pump types.

The PWR-FLO asymmetrical spool design (ASD) features the most efficient air system available on the market. The anti-stalling design also provides excellent reliability in repeated on/off liquid transfer situations for filling and batching applications. Nomad™ Trans-flo Diaphragm Pumps
The Nomad TRANS-FLO gold pump line features a rugged anodized aluminum piston-style air valve system. This system is capable of functioning in the harshest compressed air conditions, such as those with an emphasis on mining, construction and utilitarian applications. The TRANS-FLO GOLD system also features the fewest moving parts in the diaphragm pump business. Fewer moving parts means increased longevity and additionally allows for ease of maintenance, assembly and disassembly.
AODD Pump Information:
Nomad air operated double diaphragm (AODD) pumps are used in a variety of different industries. This type of pump is called a positive displacement pump which uses compressed air as its power source. The compressed air is moved from one chamber another by a linked shaft that allows the chambers to move simultaneously. The resulting back-and-forth motion forces liquid out of one chamber and through the discharge manifold while the other chamber is simultaneously being filled with liquid. The liquid chambers are filled and emptied by fluid drawn through an inlet and discharged through a single outlet.
